Parkinson’s Class

This is an ongoing weekly exercise class geared towards people with Parkinson’s who experience difficulties with moving.  Classes are designed with many levels in mind, incorporating concepts of large amplitude movement in various positions.  Exercises are focused on movements and tasks that carry over into everyday life to promote wellness and independence.  Various formats will be included that have been shown to reduce the progression of Parkinson’s Disease, including strengthening, balance mobility, circuit training, boxing, and functional fitness.  We encourage caregivers to attend and assist with classes as available. We look forward to challenging you in fun and creative ways!
